Today's Weather Notebook brainstorm will be a multiple choice. So, get ready to choose an answer and call it in using our toll free number, which is 1-888-RAIN-001. Don't worry, I'll say it again in a minute or so. Hi, I'm Dave Thurlow for the Mount Washington Weather Observatory in North Conway, New Hampshire and if you haven't figured it out by now this is The Weather Notebook.

The brainstorm I have for you today actually comes from David Phillips at Environment Canada in Toronto. He's put together a wonderful weather calendar by the way check out our website for more information about that, and for a second look at the brainstorm that I'm going to give you right now.

Prior to 1900 what of the following would not have been reported in a standard weather observation:
1. relative humidity
2. visibility
3. barometric pressure
4. snow depth
5. minimum temperature
