Hi, Iım Bryan Yeaton for The Weather Notebook. You may heard or read on our website the two reports this month on car maintainance and cruising in the summer from two of the auto worldıs most famous or infamous commentators. Iım referring of course to Tom and Ray Magliozzi, the hosts of NPRıs CAR Talk. Well today we gain further insight from Click and Clack on the advantages of summer and global climate change.

Click: The only season that is any good is summer and we are both of the same mind when it comes to the seasons, the hotter the better.

BY: You guys agree on that?

Click: My three favorite words in the English language are hazy, hot, and humid.

BY: You get plenty of that in Boston in the summer.

Clack: We certainly do and it's great.

Click: We love it. Yeah, sweat is good.

Clack: And all the people who complain and beef about it all summer long are the ones who are gonna freeze all winter long 'cause that's what you get. Be careful what you ask for.

BY: Then what do you think about Global Climate Change? Is that real?

Click: We love it! Are you kidding?

BY: You don't think it's a conspiracy of real estate agents in southern Canada? (laughter)

Click: Well no, as a matter of fact if you've noticed the weather of late has demonstrated that Global Warming is here to stay.

Clack: And you wackos up in New Hampshire, you can do anything you want.

Click: Yeah, you guys like the snow.

BY: We love it!

Clack: Sure, you want to get out there in your four wheel drive trucks, drive around and go buy a light bulb or a quart of milk.

Click: And you only consider summer an inconvenience and endure summer so you can get those nice colored leaves in the fall.

Clack: And you can't go hunting in the summer, I guess, because the hunting season is in the fall and that's all you guys live for is killing things. (laughter) Not that I have anything against New Hampshire, but you are a bunch of pagans. Let's face it.
